This exciting performance opportunity with the Rockford Symphony Orchestra has now been finalized, and it’s coming up very soon – Register before May 22!
America 250 Celebration | Friday, July 3, 2026
This will be a grand celebration at the Coronado Theatre sponsored by the City of Rockford to honor the founding of our nation 250 years ago. It will be a 70-80 minute show without intermission.
Repertoire highlights include “With Voices Raised,” a majestic larger-scale work for choir, orchestra, tenor soloist, and narrators; and Mack Wilberg’s stirring setting of “America the Beautiful.”
Four (4) rehearsals will be held 7:00-9:00pm at:
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 3300 Rural St., Rockford.
Please also note that the performance is FRIDAY and the only rehearsal with the orchestra is during the afternoon. We understand that this may conflict with work and family schedules, but if you can work this out, please do! The July 4th weekend is busy for many of us. Please consider being a part of this grand 250th Anniversary celebration!
